What on earth is a Pangolin?!

Pangolins are scaly animals, which are indigenous in Asia and Africa. Unfortunately, they are the most trafficked mammal worldwide because the Pangolin’s scales are popular in traditional Chinese medicine. The little creatures are defensless and roll up when in danger so that they become an easy loot.

Our name choice

Now why did we decide for Pangolin as a nam for our boat? First and foremost, we want to raise awareness for the precarious situation of the species. And they are cute animals too! And in case you wonder: Pangolins can swim too!
